June 18, 2009: Dr. Larry Reider is honored & recognized by the foundation after his announced retirement as Kern County Superintendent of Schools. The photograph includes (L-R) Brian Mendiburu, MMF Founder/President, Valerie Mendiburu, MMF Vice-Chair and VP of Public Affairs, Dr. Larry E. Reider, MMF 2nd Vice-Chair and Chairman for our MMF Advisory Board, and Jack O'Connell, California State Superintendent of Public Instruction. The special event was hosted by the Wool Growers Basque Restauraunt located in Bakersfield, California.
The drawing was a gift presented by a local artist and MMF board member named Zane Smith.
